The Dijon Human Sciences House (MSH) brings together all the teams and research units as well as the Graduate School (LISIT) in Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Burgundy. It is a federated structure and a university service whose responsibility is to fulfill three main functions:
● structuring research in the Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Burgundy by encouraging and supporting interdisciplinary programs involving multidisciplinary centers;
● providing associated research teams with common facilities in which to share equipment, personnel and know-how;
● participating, alongside the University of Burgundy LISIT Graduate School, in the training of doctoral students through research.

The research programs developed by the entities as well as by all the laboratories involved in the MSH rely on common research services whose purpose is to share equipment, personnel and skills.
